We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Rostr account and what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the Rostr app on your device
- Go to Profile (bottom navigation)
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, email us with your account details:

What Data Will Be Deleted

| Profile photo | Permanently deleted |
| Availability settings | Permanently deleted |
| Shift assignments | Removed from schedules |
| Shift requests | Permanently deleted |
| Push notification tokens | Permanently deleted |
| App preferences and settings | Permanently deleted |
- Time clock entries: May be retained for up to 7 years for payroll/tax compliance
- Transaction records: Subscription payment history retained as required by law
This data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to your identity.
Before You Delete
Please consider the following:
- Active subscriptions: Cancel your subscription through Google Play or Apple App Store before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.
- Team impact: If you're a manager/admin, transfer ownership to another user first.
- Export data: If you need records of your time entries, request an export before deletion.

Reactivation
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Rostr again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
